Our UK Grant Giving Team
Our UK grant making is overseen by Trustees Charlie and Yvonne, working with advisers at Greenwood Place. Together, they select and monitor grants, ensuring we back charities with strong leadership and measurable impact.
Charlie Edwards
Trustee
Charlie has been a Trustee of the Foundation since 2010. His career has been predominantly in private equity, where he has 14 years’ experience of backing UK-based medium-sized companies. He is also a Trustee of Impetus, The Private Equity Foundation.
Yvonne Stone
Trustee
Yvonne joined the Foundation as a Trustee in 2023. After studying in Switzerland, she started her career at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, (UNHCR) in Geneva and subsequently forged a career in public relations and publishing in London, Hong Kong and Greece spanning some 25 years. Yvonne is multi-lingual and speaks French, Greek and Italian.
Greenwood Place advises the Foundation on its UK portfolio, supporting strategic development, the selection of grantees and impact evaluation.
